I looked at my cell phone today, and discovered 4 missed calls, accompanied by 4 new voice mail messages.
The first 3 were from someone who sounded either crazy or drunk looking for Steve, asking where he was, and berating him for not picking up the phone.
The fourth was from a girl calling to tell Steve that his mom was in the hospital.
I called the number and left a message saying that Steve wasn't at this number.
I hope they got ahold of Steve, whoever he is, and I hope the mom's situation was not made worse by not being able to get ahold of him.
