Astrid is growing. I decided last night that it's time to put away the newborn diaper covers (not so much because she outgrew them as because the larger ones are cuter and better brands :)), and the pants she's wearing are getting too short, though they needed cuffs a few weeks ago. Pretty soon I'll have to break out the 3-6 month clothing, I bet.
I just weighed her using the rather inexact "weigh myself then weigh myself while holding her" method on our somewhat flaky, non-digital scale, and she weighs 10lbs. Which tells me nothing, given the flakiness of the scale, so I'm not sure why I bothered.
She also seems to be settling into a distinct morning/afternoon nap, which is cool.
Today Leif and Debbie were in the kitchen. Debbie asked Leif what he was doing. He said, "I'm making myself hot chocolate!"
I said "Agh!"
My ideal house would have an unrestricted view of the kitchen from the main sitting area.
