OMG, Internet Literacy final was EVIL!

Not in the way you're thinking.

The final question - do a web search for the professor's name and tell what you find, extra credit for address and/or phone number (with a few details given to help us know if we got the right one). Ooh, a challenge.

I spent way too long on it, but I'm pretty sure I found his home address.

Heh.. that's pretty funny.

Someone in my math class presented the teacher with a few pages of details on her -- I have no idea why he was looking her up, it was way beyond the fascinated faux-stalkery thing I do, he was in some serious databases -- and she thought that meant she was much easier to find than she realized she was. Then he said, "Well, I am a cop, I have access to more than most people," and I found that a bit freaky. But he's a very nice guy. Still.

Also: Thus, my online name will remain separate from my legal name (which is findable in genealogy forums, regardless).

Yeah, that's rather odd. Does he do that to everyone he knows, or was she special for some reason? I'm not sure which is weirder.

I do the faux-stalkery thing, but not to this level of obsessiveness, and I don't expect I ever would have thought to if it hadn't been for the test question.

Shouldn't you be teaching that class? After all, you were probably using the Internet when the prof was still calling it the World Wide Web, clicking hyperlinks, and talking in AOL chat rooms.

A mid-semester course cancellation left me needing 3 more units to keep financial aid, and this was a 3 unit online course where I could get permission to add.

I don't think the professor was quite that inexperienced :P (Actually, I know so, as I stalked him and know his background. Mwhahaha!)
