Mommy, make it go away!
Due my little obsessive Wil Weaton fest this morning, I kind of forgot to do actual work. In fact, I almost forgot to go to class, but I snapped out of it in time.
So during class I finally remembered to check and see if the samba server was still running. We were working on lab exercises which I'd finished half an hour before, so I was able to check it. Dead, of course.
Not sure what to do now. I've tried everything I can think of that would actually fix the source of the problem.
Write a script to try to connect every minute, and restart the server if it fails?
And I feel icky. There are times when I'd really rather not be female. Now is one of them.

Re: use the force
(yeah, right. Like that's really going to happen)
