I don't know. It would certainly be annoying if she insisted on giving me a blow-by-blow description of a show that I did watch. But on the other hand, if I'd watched it, we could have an actual conversation about it instead of a one-sided description.
Interestingly enough, this was actually demonstrated today. I had two meetings - one with her and some other people, and one with a different group. We spent about half of the first meeting talking about the same TV shows she'd spent the morning telling me about. I was about ready to scream by the end of the meeting. In the other meeting, we also spent half the time talking about TV, but it was all shows that I watch, so it wasn't nearly as bad.
