Yesterday I picked up a copy of the paper class schedule, just for the heck of it. Didn't really need it, as I've already been over the online one a million times.
Turns out it's a good thing I did - there's an Intro to Women's Studies class listed in the paper schedule that isn't listed online. This means I can finish my A.A. in Women's Studies next semester without having to kill myself commuting.
Yay!
Both classes I need are in the middle of the day, which makes work a bit awkward. If I take lunch during the time I'm at class and stay an hour later in the evenings, this shouldn't be a problem, though. And this won't ruin my day to awfully, as I'll have the whole evening free every night, which is something I haven't had in years.
I had planned to take an anthropology class, and I'm a little disappointed about that. For one, the professor is incredibly undemanding, while still very interesting. She taught the first class I took at Sac City, so it would be kind of neat for her to teach one of the last classes, too (this is likely to be my last semester here, regardless of whether or not I finish the Women's Studies degree). Perhaps I still will take it. If it's as low-work as the other class I took from her, I should have no trouble with it, and it's only one night a week.
In any case, I'm really happy to actually be able to finish this degree. For a while, it looked like circumstances were going to cause me to have to give it up.
