ocelotYesterday at the dentist's office, one of the hygienists said, "He looks just like Leif Erikson!"
She didn't know Leif's name when she said that. I guess we chose the right name!
Leif is doing great! He loves standing, and can now stand up almost on his own (just needs a little boost to get started and something to hold onto for balance). He's very close to being able to sit up on his own - he can manage for a few seconds at a time, until he gets distracted and falls down. He babbles a lot, and is starting to shriek with joy when he's happy, which is a bit hard on the ears, but still fun to hear. He's also learned how to cough, and spends a lot of time fake coughing.
At his doctor's appointment on the 29th, he weighed 15.5 pounds.
Leif's yoga class on Halloween:
We're really looking forward to our trip to California next week (though I'm not so sure about the plane trip!). Leif loves being around people, so he should have a blast meeting everyone.
