It's snowing! And sticking! Probably not for much longer, but it only snows here about once every 5 or 10 years. I grew up in coastal Southern California, where it never snows, so it's different enough to be neat. I've seen snow before (my grandparents lived in the mountains, and I've been to the east coast during winter) but never in my own front yard!
The Myparty worm is making it's way around work. Interesting bit of social engineering - the filename (www.myparty.yahoo.com) looks like a URL, which stands a chance of fooling the people who've finally learned to look for hidden extensions. I'm guessing that today will be a rather interesting day at work. Luckily, I'm not there. I have a sore throat which isn't really bad enough to stay home, but I'd like to take care of it before it gets bad enough, and I don't want to expose my co-worker who tends to catch everything from me.
After a pretty slow weekend, we're up to 27 lemurs, 11 of those within the past 8 hours. It's interesting to note that a large minority of the people add "lemurs in the rain" as an interest, but don't actually post it to their journals.
