Feb. 13th, 2007 12:33 amI just realized that, if I can take Anatomy&Physiology I over the summer, I can finish all my other prerequisites in fall semester. I thought it was going to take both fall and spring, but it turns out that one class I thought was a prereq is actually just a graduation requirement, so I can take it later. This is good - I thought I was going to have to take a few other 1-3 unit classes as filler to get me up to full time. While I like the idea of taking random classes in theory, in practice it means more books to buy, more units added to my already too high total (which may interfere with financial aid), and more distraction.
And then I can take that other class (Intro to Public Speaking. Joy.) and organic chemistry (which is a prereq for the CSU nursing programs) spring semester if I don't get into a nursing program then. I think I'm actually looking forward to public speaking less than organic chemistry.
I also discovered I can drop old low grades that don't reflect my current level of work from GPA calculation, which is neat, since I have a few classes which would qualify.
Yay!
