Do you know anywhere in Davis where I could get 1/2" elastic? "Know" meaning "with at least 95% certainity" - I have guesses myself, but since I'm likely going to be walking to whereever it is, I don't want to go on a guess.
Anyways...
Today was a good day. Our garage sale went well. We sold a lot of stuff, including more of the books than I would have thought. We're doing it again next weekend since we weren't all that well prepared this time - we'll see how that goes.
We were able to get our storage space cleared out, what with the sale and all, which is especially good today, since we don't have to pay for another month this way.
Then there was the Kim Stanley Robinson book signing, which went well. We left Leif at home, and beeb slept through most of it and made cute noises on cue when he was talking about infants. He remembered us, which was neat.
Leif fell asleep with a winter hat on and looks hilarious.
Our room is an insane mess with stuff (mostly books) we aren't selling (yet, anyways) and have to figure out where to store. Tomorrow is looking really busy and not a good time for a huge cleanup, but it really needs to be done. I need to stick the kiddos in suspended animation for a few hours to get it all done, I think. And maybe try to study for my test next week at the same time.
