Jun. 21st, 2007 04:26 pmThe human development class seems infinitely more manageable than the A&P, both workwise and because it's a 10 minute bike ride from my house. The teacher seems good - there are several repeat students, and she's very friendly and engaging. She reminds me, both in looks and mannerisms, of Ally McBeale, only healthier weight. She talks oddly, which was explained when she told us she grew up in Germany. Her vowels sound odd, in particular.
The odd part is that she started as a human development major at UCD within a year or so of me, so we may have actually taken undergrad classes together. Don't think I'll tel her that :) Especially as I already have a history of flakiness with her as I was signed up for this class last fall and forgot to drop. And yes - she remembered that! Eek!
I'm not happy with aikido right now. Part of this may be just me, but we're losing students (2 of the 6 regulars are leaving Davis), and I'm feeling picked on, and I'm just not enjoying it in general. But I don't know what else I'd switch to, so whatever.
