Like the book about the vegetarian twins who could astrally project and foiled their evil teacher which you later discovered was some sort of Eckankar propoganda. Anyone else remember that one? Because it seems a surprising number of people do.
I've been meaning for a while to put together a list of non-popular books I read as a child that had a big impact on me to see if anyone else has ever heard of them, and this makes me more convinced that it's a good idea. But not tonight.
