Beeb is chewing on my leg. Just teething, but it's freaking me out. I wish she'd stop.

The highway is upwind from us, so while we see the occasional... thing... shamble by, they aren't noticing us.

I can't get ahold of my family. The San Diego Zoo main number seems to be busy. I wonder why? My mom left for Europe the other day, so perhaps she is ok. hideousallusion - are you ok? Have you heard anything?

It's damn hot, and Leif is whiny and miserable. So are all the rest of us, to be fair.

I just hope this blows over and they have a world to go back to. I wonder if my mom felt this way, living with small kids at a probable Ground Zero during the Cold War?

I wonder if aikido is effective against zombies? We grabbed my new bokken, which koyote just finished the other day. It's gorgeous. If I have to go out, it may as well be while fighting off the undead with a really pretty big stick.
