Leif's 4th birthday party is June 30th, at 2:00 PM at Chestnut Park in Davis (directions upon request). Please do not feel obligated to bring a present. Standard birthday party fare will be provided. Bring a potluck dish if you feel like it.

On a completely different note, I am becoming rather frustrated with Davis's lack of elastic. This new project calls for 1/4". The three stores I checked (South Davis Rite-Aid and Safeway, and Dollar Tree) didn't have any elastic at all, and Nugget only had 1/2" last time I was there looking for elastic, which was great then, as 1/2" was what I needed at the time, but not helpful now.

I have a feeling this is going to be a problem throughout his life, with his birthday being a few days before the 4th of July. We were going to aim for this weekend, but there was too much else going

Oh, and I don't need a whole lot of elastic - well less than a yard, though having leftovers will keep it from being a problem next time I need it. The smallest package should be fine.

I got a yard of 1/4" elastic for you. I bought if off the spool, as it was cheaper than a package (and less packaging!) We didn't make it this morning, but we'll be heading to town after nap. I'll swing by and if you're not home, leave it on the porch.
