livyanne and got my head on straight and politely declined. The recruiter was actually a friend of mine, and I explained that I'd happily join and help her meet her quotas once the Bush Administration was out of office.
This is becoming something of a repeating dream. How odd.
Also in the dream - I was a very junior member of some sort of scientific team, and was invited to, and attended, a semi-classified conference (related to biology, and not necessarily radiation-related) at a conference center at the Trinity bomb site (except, uh, it appeared to be in Davis). I was thrilled to be there, but I wasn't allowed to look at certain exhibits, and I felt out of place because I was wearing cargo pants and a t-shirt while everyone else wore business clothing.
Someone, I believe it wasoatmeal told me once that you don't start having dreams set in a location you've lived until several years after you start living there (did he specifically say 4 years?). I'm starting to have a fair number of dreams set in Virginia.
