Since it's getting to be cold season...

Theobromine, a compound found in cacao, is a more effective cough suppressant than codeine or OTC cough suppressant medication.

For best results, eat dark chocolate with as high a cacao content as you can find and tolerate. Dosage isn't really specific (and obviously going to depend on the cacao content) - eat a few squares, and, if that isn't enough, eat a few more. A hot cocoa drink made with just cocoa powder, hot water, and honey would probably also be effective, as honey is also a cough suppressant.

Ah my dear, HErsheys Cacao reserve Drinking coco, already prepared just add hot water, AND it has the added benefit of opening up those possibly clogged arteries going to the brain and is recommended for those that might be older.About 2 hours after consumption it increases the blood to the brain by about 20 percent..
And its... richly good stuff;0)
