Stupid names

Murder Burger was pretty much a Davis establishment, one of the few places I'd heard of before I moved here. If you ask someone to name a hamburger place in Davis, they'd probably name Murder Burger.
Not surprisingly, the name was somewhat controversial. Though people in Davis didn't really mind it, apparently people in the city where the other branch is located complained. And their sales go down every time there's a school shooting or other high profile murder.
So they had a contest to change the name. Yesterday we drove by, and the new name was up. And the winning entry was...
(Also, a plea for a roommate)
Redrum Burger.
All the negative associations of Murder, with a satanic twist thrown in, and without the catchy rhyme.
I truly wonder what they were thinking.
Anyways, I apologize for that cheap cliffhanger of an intro.
I'm drinking a sprite/rainbow sherbert float. Not quite as tasty as a root beer float, but more refreshing. Nice on a day like today, after walking several miles home in the 90+ heat.
I was going to give a rant on my thoughts about D.A.R.E., but it was getting to the point where I was going to end up deciding it was stupid, and not posting it. I'll do so some other time.
Someone on a mailing list I'm on sent out one of those surveys which asks all sorts of questions about yourself. I started filling it out, not realizing the darn thing was 150+ questions long. Geez. If it wasn't so long, I'd consider posting it here. Maybe I'll put together an abbreviated version of it at some point in the future.
Anyone know a reasonably quiet (especially between the hours of about 10pm and 9 am on weekdays), preferably female, person looking for somewhere to live in Davis, CA? My only strict requirements are non-smoking (at least within the apartment), reasonably quiet, and able to put up with cats (I have 2). I've got a two bedroom/2 bath apartment lined up for next year, and need to find someone to take the other room. Rent would be approx. $475 a month, plus utils. High speed internet, free cable, pool and exercise room in complex. Near a grocery store and lots of bus lines. Anyways, if anyone is interested or knows anyone who might be interested, email cat at ansible dot org. The room would be available in the beginning of July. A later move-in would be ok, but I'd prefer not to pay the full rent for the apartment for very long.
