More dreams
Aug. 1st, 2001 10:05 amStill having vivid dreams last night, but the one I had just before I woke up this morning was terribly amusing.
For some reason, me and a bunch of others on an IRC channel were designing a mascot for something.
We decided on a ferret who does nothing all day but sit around drinking beer and programming in CobolScript.
So we found a picture of a ferret, and photoshopped in a beer can, and designed an O'Reilly CobolScript book and photoshopped that in as well. Someone animated its mouth, and made it talk ebonics.
Now, many dreams have bizarre elements, but you don't realize how bizarre they are until later. Not the case with this one. I was laughing at least as much in the dream as I was when I woke up.
And hours later, I'm still giggling whenever I think of it.
