Mar. 23rd, 2002 12:56 pmI'm playing with the LJ directory feature that they recently made available to payed users, looking for people from my hometown. I don't know why - I have no particular fondness for 99% of them. Every once in a while I just get the compulsion to find out how everyone else has turned out.
The second diary I stumbled across is someone I went to school with, probably a year or two behind me. She/he/it is apparently lab partners with a guy who was in my class.
From her/his/its friends page, I tracked down someone I do recognize.
It seems my hometown now as a Rubio's. That's about all I've learned so far. And apparently some guy I vaguely remember was deployed to Saudi Arabia on Sept. 13th.
The journal's author is a he, and his name is apparently Pat. That should give me enough to go on. Looking in my yearbook, I suspect I know who it is, given the social group he discusses.
Of course, it helps having gone to a high school with ~150 per class.
It's odd reading journals of people you don't know, discussing people you do know.
I should stop being a stalker and do something productive. Like shower.
