Mar. 24th, 2003 01:52 pmHave I mentioned lately that Kaiser sucks?
I'm looking through the pregnancy book they gave me (I actually have two copies of the darn thing - we found one for a dollar at the thrift store before I got it from Kaiser). It could really use a proofreader.
In one paragraph, they state that bottle-fed babies double their birthweight in 14-16 weeks. The next paragraph says 12-14 weeks.
Then they have lines like this: "Pregnancy is the best time to screen a pregnant woman for diabetic tendency."
Nah, really? I thought screening pregnant women when they aren't pregnant would make more sense.
