Aug. 11th, 2003 10:29 pmI posted a whole lot of pictures to http://www.ansible.org/~jess/leif/ today. It's an actual website now, not just a list of pictures. "The First Days" are the pictures that were already posted. Everything else is new.
I went to the doctor today. I'm all healthy. My blood pressure is way down (100/60), and I'm a bit below my pre-pregnancy weight. Yay. Now if only my bones would go back to normal so my old jeans would fit!
In answer to my mom's questions from yesterday, Leif smiles when we make silly faces at him, and fusses when he's hungry or bored or wants to be held or needs a diaper change or just about anything else! No really, he's not that bad. He fusses a bit at times, but calms down quickly once we fix whatever the problem was.
He seems to like eating, sleeping while being held, grabbing hair, baths (in spite of what the pictures show), going for walks in his sling or stroller, going shopping, going for drives (as long as the car is moving!) and generally being out and about.
A lot of people ask about his eating and sleeping. He eats constantly, and is gaining weight well. He still wakes up to eat every 3-4 hours at night. That gets a little tiring, but at least he doesn't wake up unless he needs to eat.
All in all, he's a pretty easy baby to take care of, though sometimes that's hard to remember when he wants to nurse for 3 hours straight!
