Mar. 17th, 2007 12:55 pmThe house I lived in between the time I was about 2 and 10 years old is selling.
For $3,000,000.
Makes me boggle a bit.
It isn't really the house I grew up in. It used to be a typical California mid-60's ranch house. After we moved out, the buyers made it into a McMansion, adding one bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms (bringing it up to 5br 5ba), and made a bunch of improvements (the master bedroom now has a huge jacuzzi tub).
Still, some not insignificant part of that is the land itself.
Wow.
I'd post a link, but I can't find it posted on any site that doesn't require registration to view listings.
The first thing I thought upon seeing my kitty was "Grizabella the Glamour Cat". She's getting pretty scruffy, but she's 16 years old, so that's not surprising.
She's always been amazingly healthy if you disregard her mental retardation and touch of borderline personality disorder. She's still relatively healthy considering her age, but getting a bit shaky and not taking care of herself well.
I want to pick her up and cuddle her, but she's not that type of cat.
