Mar. 18th, 2007 08:40 amBeeb cried and cries yesterday when she first saw my mom, and then again when she met my cousin Hannah. The only time she's done that before was when she met
stevefava, who looks somewhat similar to
koyote. Someone mentioned at the time that some babies get scared when seeing someone who looks similar to someone they know, and I'm guessing that's the case, as there's definitely a family resemblance between my mom, my cousin, and I.
We visited my "baby" cousins yesterday, and I practically fainted when Willy came downstairs - his voice changed! And he's grown about three feet. He seems friendlier now than the last few times I've seen him. Hannah's grown too, of course, but she was well started on puberty last time I saw her so it was less of a shock.
Who in the world came up with the word puberty, anyways? It seems specifically designed to make pre-teens giggle uncomfortably in "What's Happening To My Body?" class.
