Jul. 29th, 2008 01:19 pmI was riding home from class today, and my thoughts wandered to earthquakes, and how I predicted one once when I was a kid. Then I thought "Just wait, I'm going to get home and find out there's been a big earthquake in Southern California".
I didn't really think I'd be right!
Not that 5.4 (current estimate) is particularly big by Southern California standards.
(Most likely explanation, other than complete chance, is that I heard someone mention something about it as I was leaving school but it didn't consciously register.)
