Jun. 17th, 2004 10:30 pmThe parenting lesson I learned this week: you never know what your kid is going to pick up. You spend all sorts of energy trying to teach baby sign language or whatever, and the one thing they learn is how to pull up your shirt to give you raspberries on your belly.
He's also learned to make kissing noises when he gets kissed.
He took a few steps on his own he other day, but still doesn't seem to want much of anything to do with walking.
He's learned to pull the plug out of the bathtub and loves watching and feeling the water go down the drain. This has a tendency to make bathtime very short.
He loves playing outdoors in the pouring rain, which I suppose is a good thing, given the aforementioned bathing difficulties.
