This is really cool. I'd say it was more like Alan Moore's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen meets the video game American McGee's Alice, but it works. I signed up for the email updates. Hopefully won't have to wait a year for issue 2!

The guy who does it is currently doing the webcomic [livejournal.com profile] c_and_a, which updates 2-3 times a week. This one won't come out as frequently (obviously, since it's 25 pages rather than one strip), but he's been pretty dedicated for a long time.

Funny that you mention Alan Moore, as the writer of this webcomic was contacted by him because Moore has been working on a graphic novel about Dorothy, Wendy, and Alice for the last 16 years. It's called Los Girls, and will be released sometime next month.
