Michael Stipe is not just randomly sending me expensive baby clothing. Instead, my aunt bought it from him on ebay.

(Which was one of my guesses about the source of the mystery packages)

what.. THE Michael Stipe sells baby clothes on eBay? Forgive me, but isn't he.. how you say.. in preference of relationships that can't bear children? :)

All I know is that the address label says Mike Stipe, and the internet confirms that a Michael Stipe lives at his address :)

(It was actually his wife who was selling it, and wikipedia claims he's had relationships with both, so you never know...)

(I'm sure, of course, that it's just a case of shared name. But it's fun saying I received a mystery package of baby clothing from Michael Stipe.)
