This morning I woke up with the urge to have cornmeal porridge with raisins. A very odd urge, given that I don't think I've ever had cornmeal porridge. It just sounded fantastic.

So I made it, and it is pretty good.

Creepy. I wanted the same thing. I made mine with leftover rice instead.

We used to have that for breakfast, when we had leftover rice. Mom would heat the rice in milk, with raisins. Too many modern kids miss out on such joy.

That's a little odd. Makes me wonder about trace mineral deficiencies or something specific to this illness, since it's a rather random craving.

There's a leftover serving that Leif claimed to want but didn't eat in the fridge.
