In our very own Bridget Jones's Diary moment... We were told the party theme was Caddyshack, when it was actually Sock Hop.

There are worse BJD moments to choose from, and worse themes to get mixed up.

I think that somewhere along the line, it was decided that I am not to wear poodle skirts in this lifetime. Not that I own one, or would have had the time to make one, though I suppose I could have pinned something to my hippie skirt to be silly.

It was fun though, if a bit too much of a reminder of how much I suck at socializing.

It's an internal thing, not like I feel I was being actively antisocial or otherwise doing something wrong. Hard to explain.
