ocelotAn amalgamation of memes I've seen on multiple people's journals recently.
10 statements for 10+ anonymous friends. Most apply to more than one person.
1. Because of you, I don't fear "leaving my youth behind" or however you want to refer to it (I'm trying to phrase it in such a way that I'm not calling you old, because you aren't :)). I admire you and hope I have as full and joyous a life as you seem to when I reach your age.
2. I don't know if I believe in the Law of Attraction on a metaphysical level, but I really wish you'd take it to heart.
3. I treasure your friendship too much to be truly open with you, and I hate that.
4. You've grown so much, and it's inspirational, and I'm so glad to know you.
5. I wish I knew you better.
6. I wish you lived closer and/or we could see eachother more often.
7. You make me all squiggly inside! (And that's a good thing!)
8. Your openness and honesty make me feel better about my own failings. In the commiseration sense, not the watching-a-trainwreck sense.
9. I want to tell you "I love you" in a purely platonic and supportive sense, but we just don't have that type of close relationship, so it feels kind of creepy and/or weird. But I do, and my heart aches whenever life dumps more shit on you.
10. Not that you're going to see this, but you need to return to LJ so we can keep in touch! Because LJ is, of course, the only true form of communication.
