Now that we've had a little more time to get to know it...

Kitten is very sweet. It likes playing and cuddling, and will actively seek out people for both, but it isn't particularly clingy or needy, though. It's good with babies and kids. It purrs a lot. It eats dry food and uses the litterbox. It's black now, but has some very faint tiger stripes. The front paws each have six toes, and the back paws are normal. We're still not sure whether or not it is male or female, as it may still be too young for testes to be obvious. It seems very happy, healthy, and well-socialized.

We'd totally keep it, but with two very allergic people in the house, a nice sweet cuddly cat is, unfortunately, a very bad idea.

Right now it is chasing its tail!

Really, it's about the best kitten ever. If you've been looking for a pet, please consider adopting it :)

There are plenty of things which handle allergies now days..Claritin for one One tablet every 24 hours.AND.... its documented fact that children should be exposed to certain allergens
Their is a high incidence of later life asthma to kinds that do not build up a resistence to certain allergens( One of those being cat)
Id keep it and deal with the allergy( Adults also build up a resistence) My brother was documented as the 2 most highly allergic individual in the state..( Originally) The allergist was even nervous about test results( MOstly smoke dust ) But also cat. He now tolerates the criters for long periods at a time. After exposure over the years)
you just get worse wilthout
