I was poking through my cousin's myspace in order to find the myspace of another cousin (her sister). I noticed that one of her friends had the same uncommon name as one of the people from my high school. And it was, in fact, the same person. Funny. They went to the same college. Then when I was looking at her (high school person's) page, and Leif pointed to one of her friends and said "Whose that pretty princess?" (Yes, I laughed). Pretty princess turned out to be someone in Davis. However, he apparently wasn't impressed with the larger picture of her, as he said "Oh, I guess she isn't a princess."

Emma Watson is playing Pauline in the new BBC production of Ballet Shoes! Squee!

I seriously didn't know I had that much squee in me.

The Shoes books were some of my childhood comfort books, not quite on my list of Most Influential and Life Shaping Childhood Literature, but certainly up there, especially Ballet Shoes and Theater Shoes.

Theater Shoes was the only one (other than Ballet Shoes) that I found particularly memorable. It's set at the school from Ballet Shoes during World War II.

Oh, there are like 10 different types of shoes :) Theater Shoes was the only one (other than Ballet Shoes) that I found particularly memorable. It's set at the school from Ballet Shoes during World War II.
