Oh, now you were most fortunate. He left so much long hair that you have options. When my bro did the same thing, it was really special. He cut chunks clear to the scalp. Yeah, those pics were cute. *g*

I have to say the damage control looks pretty good. I hope I cope this well (mostly because I will have to rapidly figure out how to do poodle hairstyles when it happens :)

I think I did, too. At least he only cut his own hair, and not Astrid's or his skin or something.

I'd cut out a few little chunks here and there when he got exceptionally bad tangles, but never so much that it couldn't blend in with the rest of his hair. This was the first all-over cut.

wow. how do you feel? i have been thinking a lot about when we get banjo's hair cut when he's three and i feel so.... emotional and anxious about it. i have had dreams that my mom or michael cut it behind my back.

It was hard cutting the rest of it off, but it was mainly koyote who was attached to his hair being long. I liked it, but it was a pain to keep untangled.
