Apr. 3rd, 2008 09:22 pmI had another Anatomy test today, and am now feeling much happier about the class. I don't know how I did, because it depends on how well the rest of the class did. I know I got some wrong, but I'm feeling much more confident about it than with my last test, and seem much more confident with my performance than the rest of the class, most of whom seem to have found this test harder than the last.
I've been vaguely worried this whole time that the whole extreme pain and eardrum exploding during the test deal was just an excuse, and I would have done equally bad regardless, but now I'm pretty convinced that it really did have a negative impact beyond my control.
(I've had numerous signs lately that perhaps I'm a touch too hard on myself sometimes.)
Somewhat against my better judgement, as I'm already feeling overwhelmed this semester and had just gotten to the point where I was down to 3 classes, I got into the late-starting online Nutrition class. They are trying their absolute hardest to make us buy new textbooks ($150). Access to WebCT requires a code, which is included with new textbooks, but can be purchased separately. Thankfully, for $15. And then we have to use special diet software that's also included with the textbook, which so far no one has mentioned is available in the campus computer lab. This is especially good, as I seriously doubt it would run on my computer (linux) anyways.
I now have a big fluffy stack of "new" cloth wipes out of our old flannel bedsheet that developed a hole recently. They even have nice pinked edges. I think I may have too many :)
