Today before class, I decided to get some fruit juice. I figured that this would be a good idea, since I'm recovering from the Flu of Death, and needed some energy.

So I went to the juice machine, and fed it a dollar. Then I tried to feed it a quarter, but it ate it. So, after attempting to get it to recognize the quarter, I gave up and hit coin return, in order to get my dollar back. Luckily, it did give it back. Unfortunatly, it gave it back in nickels.

Since that didn't work out, I decided to try my luck with the Snapple machine. There was a sticker on the front of the machine saying that there was a free shirt inside the machine. I thought, "Gee, what do you want to bet that whoever wins the shirt is someone who really really wants a Snapple, and doesn't want a shirt, and doesn't have any money to buy another Snapple if they won the shirt?". So I put in my money, and hit the peach iced tea button.

And won the shirt.

Some days you just can't win, even when you win.

Well, I guess that seeing a shirt compressed to fit into a snapple bottle was worth it. I haven't opened it yet, so I don't know whether the shirt itself is any good.

And yeah, after this long, you'd think I'd have learned my lesson about campus vending machines. They work just often enough to lure me into a false sense of security.
