I went to a co-worker/IRC acquaintance's Halloween party last night, at which the first ever picture of koyote and I together was taken. It was fun. The party, that is. I threw together a soldier costume out of Koy's army surplus clothing, and should have put ten more minutes of work into it, as it was apparently not obvious that I was supposed to be a soldier ("What are you supposed to be? A hippy?"). Next time I'll make sure I have a gun...

If you have a chance to see Spirited Away, I reccommend it. It's by the same person who did My Neighbor Totoro, which is the absolute best kid's movie ever. Spirited is darker (it seems to be aimed at 7-10 year olds or so, rather than young kids like Totoro), and slightly more Disneyfied, but equally gorgeous.

I'm curious as to just how much of the dialogue was essentially a direct translation of the original, and how much was Disney. A few lines in particular seemed to be the type of adult-aimed humor Disney likes to stick in their movies.

We had a fun incident on the way to the movie. koyote wanted to stop into a game shop to get something for D&D. We look around for a while, and he showed me this card game called Fluxx, saying it's the best game ever (which it is).

I asked if he's planning to buy it.

He said yes, and asked why I was asking.

I explained that I bought it for him for Christmas, in the same shop the week before.

At least I know that I correctly judged him, and that it's a present he'll appreciate :)

No prob on the confidentiality thing. There are a few HS type friends on my list, but they're all cool so I am sure that's not an issue for them either. I dunno what theducks is talkin about, you haven't aged a day. Do you still get carded all the time like I do? People think I am 16... Anyway, you guys are a really cute couple :)

When I was 20, I got carded at an R-Rated movie. So did one of the people I was with, who was like 25.
