As far as vegetables go (I'm not a big fan, either) it isn't really all that bad. Not as strong as regular broccoli. Kind of similar to cauliflower, but a bit more broccoli-ish, if that makes any sense.
But I like broccoli to begin with, so I may not be the best judge.
I'd never seen it before today, when we found it at the local food co-op. They have a lot of weird veggies - purple potatos and stuff like that. I think a lot of it is locally grown.
