Look! I've grown!

We had the second ultrasound today. Pics below cut tag.
Lemurbaby is officially a terribly belligerant baby. She was hiding, with her bottom way down in my pelvis, so we couldn't see whether she was a boy or girl. Of course, as soon as we left, she flipped around and started kicking me up by my belly button.
So we can't narrow down the name-range at all. Oh well.
Everything seems fine. Her heart, stomach, and spine are there, and at least one arm and leg. The skull is developing properly. Everything is the right size for 19 weeks.
Here's the pictures!

The head is at the top. The black spot in the middle of the body is the stomach.

The spine.

In this picture, she lives up to the name "Alien". The big black spots on the front of her head are her eyes. You can also see the rib cage, and a little hand down at the bottom.

Another face shot, or something. We're actually not entirely sure, but you can see the arm and hand up near the top.

Date: 2003-02-21 08:12 pm (UTC)Some day I'll get one of my echocardiograms as a Web-distributable file. Those are really cool too; colour-coded, realtime blood flow mapping through the heart. It's neat.
Clear skies! Stout hearts!
