Did ocelot find the nose-face album? Did she pass the Math Placement test? Read on to to find the answer to all these questions and more...
The nose-face album has been located! For the 3 of you who said I was obviously under the influence of hallucinogenics while in Italy (or if you just want to see what a nose-face looks like) - Proof! Thanks to Nemesi on Undernet, who was able to ask this question in Italian, where hopefully it doesn't sound quite so weird. Now, to find somewhere to order this thing...
The group is called "Elio e le storie tese" and the album is called "craccraccriccrec", apparently.
So last night, I got to the math placement test, where we were informed that only the basic arithmetic and algebra tests were being given at my location - if we wanted to be placed in anything beyond intermediate algebra, we'd have to take the test at the main campus.
Most of us were quite annoyed with this, as the catalog had mentioned nothing about that. And, being a university town, most of the people were there to take tests for higher level math. However, most of us stuck around and took it anyways, just for the heck of it.
So, I now have no worries that I'll end up in anything lower than Intermediate Algebra - there was only one problem that I had any trouble on. But I'll have to take a day off to go into Sac and take the other test. It's worth it for the extra study time, provided I actually bother to study. Especially since I have quite a few other random chores that I've been putting of until I have an excuse to take a day. Also, it means that I have a better idea of what type of test it is (multiple choice, no calculator, and apparently the college-level test is computerized), and how in-depth I need to study.
Anyways, I promise I'll shut up about math placement tests now, at least until it gets a bit closer to the other one :) (Probably about 2 weeks)
