ocelotI got carded today. At the library.
Librarian: "How old are you?"
Me: "25"
Librarian: "Can I see some ID? Your card is listed as Juvenile"
So I showed my ID card, and was then allowed to check out my "Richard Scary's Silly Songs" DVD.
We're down in San Diego. It's raining. Leif is sick. What fun! I'm debating trying to be social sometime this weekend, but between Leif's sickness, plans we already have, and the fact that I don't really have anyone to be social with, I doubt it will actually happen.
Leif almost always gets sick when we're here (we think he may be allergic to the down comforter, which I've thrown in the closet this time around), but this time he got sick before we even left. He has a fever, no appetite, and generally seems draggy and lethargic. Last night he was awake for about an hour at 3:00AM. I hope that we don't have a repeat tonight, but I'm not really holding out hope, since he was dozing much of the evening.
Not that I don't want him to get better, but I have to admit, the idea of sitting around tomorrow watching TV with a cuddly quiet baby isn't half bad, especially if it keeps raining.
There are currently fireworks going off. I'm not sure why.
