Jul. 12th, 2007 10:43 pmWoh. Did I really get 102% on the test I took today? Or did the professor screw up entering the grades?
She caught me in the hall during break and told me I'd done very well on the test, but I have no clue how I did quite that well. Actually, I do. Several good educated guesses. But really, there were enough questions I was iffy on (and one literal "eeny meeny miney moe") that I'm shocked.
I'm a little confused, because she said the class average was higher than last test, and according to the website it isn't. But the website may reflect the class average from all sections of the class. Perhaps that's it.
She's a neat teacher. The scantron tests are graded by the time we get back from break in the middle of class, and entered the grades while the class was working on a project. None of this keeping us waiting all week stuff that some teachers do.
I got home from class and managed to finally the bedroom clean. I've been letting it pile up partially due to lack of motivation, partially because every time I start cleaning, something interrupts, and by the time I get back anything I've done has been undone again. But I managed it today, and I rearranged everything, too.
koyote found a big desk to replace the small one (child's schooldesk) we've been using for the laptop. Somehow, adding in a big old desk has freed up space in the room by providing more horizontal surface area.
I'm pretty sure we can fit another bookshelf in, which would take care of a lot of the storage issues, though we still need to get rid of a bunch of stuff (garage sale this Saturday, and some of it is waiting to go to other people, so it *will* be gone at some point soon. Hmm, I can probably start listing the nicer fall/winter baby clothing on craigslist now-ish and get rid of that bag).
koyote says that if he gets 2 drawers of the desk, he'll empty out his junk drawer in the changing table dresser, which means I'll have more room for diaper stuff, and it's all I can do to resist going and helpfully emptying his drawer for him right this second!
This is another reason I tend to avoid cleaning. When I do it, I get a touch manic and OCD about it.
I also switched the laptop over to linux (and by "switched over", I mean "rebooted"), as Windows was really only installed for Leif's games, and since
koyote and I have pretty much taken it over until my laptop gets fixed, it made more sense to be using a real multiuser operating system. So now we are back to unix-only. Yay!
