Dear Baby,

These small movements against my hipbone lead me to believe you probably have your hands up (er, down) near your head.

Please strongly consider moving them before being born. I would greatly appreciate it.

Love,
Mom

Sex on your hands and knees.
And not gentle "I love you so tender" sex, either.

And is this your professional opinion, or simply an amusing idea?

Dead serious professional advice.

In a multip such as yourself, the head usually will not fully engage until active labor, hence it is still very negotiable in the pelvis right now. Hands and knees position, coupled with the motions that position generate (yum!), and a little physical nudging away from the cervix, will encourage fetal movement and hopefully, an arm retraction away from the cervix.

Happy baby repositioning!
