Nov. 30th, 2006 08:52 am1. Eggnog or hot chocolate?
Mexican Hot Chocolate. Then eggnog, but in moderation. I'll choose eggnog over plain old hot chocolate probably 3/4 of the time.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
Wrapped unless it's excessively big or awkward.
3. Colored lights or white?
Either/both. Depends on the context.
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No
5. When do you put your decorations up?
Preferably at some point before Christmas
6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
Cranberry orange sauce
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Skating around on my new rollerblades in the 80 degree weather.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I think I figured out that Santa had the same handwriting as my mom when I was five or six.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
One.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?

Yeah, what Leif said.
11. Snow! Love it or dread it?
Love it as a novelty, dread it when it means being stuck in the house for days on end.
12. Can you ice skate?
Havn't in 10 years or so, but I suspect I'd still be able to. It's like riding a bike.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift as a kid?
The Fisher Price tape recorder I got when I was 5. I had a huge amount of fun with that thing.
14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you?
Hmm, don't really have one.
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Gingerbread.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Homemade biscotti with Mexican Hot Chocolate or coffee on Christmas morning.
17. What tops your tree?
Usually nothing.
18. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving?
Giving, which I'll admit is mainly because I rarely receive gifts that are truly useful.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song?
Have I mentioned before how much I dislike favorite questions?
Probably Angels We Have Heard On High (which I disliked as a child because "Gloria" sounded like "Diarrhea"). I dislike most secular Christmas music.
This question reminds me that I can now listen to Trans-Siberian Orchestra without irritating
koyote too excessively :)
20. Candy canes?
In small quantities.
