This has to be one of the more unfortuntaely named books ever.

What the freakity fucking hell is this? Why??????????? Why must you systematically murder my childhood, Disney?

Seriously, WTF?

I wish I had not watched that. My head hurts now.

I always cry at the end, even though I've read it like 5989875151248145 times.

I don't have words to express how terrible the trailer makes me feel.

i know! i'm so glad i saw it here first. i would have probably cried if i went and saw a movie, then seen tihs trailer. what's sad is like, "gosh, i know you mean well, but let some sundance kids make it into a movie"

f451 was a great book, with a really bad movie from the 70s, but that's what makes it amazing. i love that horrid movie. ha ha ha

Oh, I watched that in high school. I don't think I'd want to watch it yet again though.

First link is broken

I never read that as a kid. Knowing Disney though, I wouldn't be surprised if the ending is absolutely nothing like the original.

OK, I never read the book, but we watched the movie in elementary school. I don't remember much except crying, but I think I would remember all of the fantasy stuff. Was that in the original movie?

Nope. It's not a fantasy - they're real world kids playing pretend, and even that is a pretty minor part of the story.

So either the movie has been made into a fantasy and is completely unlike the book, or they're billing it incorrectly and a lot of people are going to take their little kids who are going to be traumatized for life.

I don't know the book. I'm assuming the trailer bears no resemblance to the book?

Ok, I'm afraid to even watch the trailer...that was my favorite childhood book.

Yeah, don't watch it. It's BAD.

Location?

I'm amazed! I had no idea that Terebithia was in Middle-Earth! Judging from the presence of both Ents and castles, I guess that it must be between Fangorn Forest and Gondor, through the castle looks more like Rohan architecture.

'scuse me while I retch. BUAAGH!

I've purposely stayed far, far away from anything related to the movie version of "Bridge to Terabithia". I just don't understand why every single book now needs to be a movie. Hollywood must *really* have run out of their own ideas for movies and now have to turn to books for ideas. Ugh.
