I wish I could have both the kids gone for a while so I could clean without Leif undoing everything as I go and Astrid fussing at me.

I'm getting out Astrid's 6-9 month clothing today, partly because it seems that overnight all her pants became capri/shorts length, and partly because there's cool weather stuff she's never going to wear if we don't get on it.

It's a little sad, because her 3-6 month clothing was, on the whole, much nicer than her 6-9 month stuff.

I should really probably not use some of the nicer cool weather stuff and sell it somehow - she has one outfit, new with tags from The Children's Place. Makes me feel like I'm cheating Beeb by not having her wear it, but I doubt she'll wear more than a few times. I wish I liked the local kid's consignment store better, but I don't get the impression she offers fair prices, and I'm not particularly comfortable with the causes the store supports. Craigslist, maybe? I'll have to see what I have.

Speaking of consigning, they're probably taking warm weather stuff at R&R now, so I should probably do that one of these days soon. Assuming I don't take stuff to the previously mentioned clothing swap first, but there's transportation issues there (any of you planning on going?).

First of all. PLEASE don't tell me that boys still untidy everything as you tidy it at 3, because I'm hoping Basil will grow out of that!

And LOL at your clothes thinkings, because we have all the same thoughts! I have 4-5 brand new w/tags outfits that would fit Basil now, or v. soon, but I am trying to go w/o them because we have enough for just now, just about, and I know he'll grow out of the brand new stuff so soon it's not worth it - but similarly, it's silly because I have no real means to make much money off them because our local consignment store is miserable - they don't just offer super low prices then sell everything at a too high price, but they are just plain mean during the transaction when you bring them stuff - they denigrate you and your clothes/baby things, just to devalue them in your eyes to increase their own profit margin - even though this is a lady from our church who owns the place!
