It looks like we are going to implement a strategic retreat and surrender Sac City. The commute is killer (either financially or timewise, depending on whether it's driving or bike/public transportation), and the classes are hard to get into.

It's too bad. I like this teacher, and, despite claiming to do terribly at chemistry, he's already made more sense of some things than I had last semester.

If I can't get into anatomy at woodland for the fall, I'll consider going LVN instead. If I was planning to stop at ASN I'd do that with no hesitation, as I can easily get through the prerequisites fall semester. But LVN to BSN programs don't seem common (if they exist at all), so it would require years of extra coursework for that. And I just don't love school that much, you know?

I think Beeb is teething again - she even cried when I put her in a bath. Poor baby.

I'm making ice cream for dinner because I feel like it. Assuming Beeb lets me up, anyways.

well, obviously my bias is towards doing the ASN. although i guess there are regional differences at play, because i don't even know of any jobs here for LPN/LVNs, i didn't know those programs still existed. but i think you would be better off doing the ASN so that you're better positioned to continue your education in the future.
