We got a new worktable for the kitchen (stainless steel restaurant castoff!), so we moved the old table and, while I was cleaning out the area where the old table had been, I found some old Leif pictures.

They had some cobwebs hanging from them. Leif said, "Oh no, a scary spider!"

I explained how spiders aren't scary and eat bad bugs and all that. Then Uncle said, "Uh, no, that is a scary spider."

There was a black widow hanging from the cobweb.

Eek!

(I'm glad this gave us the excuse to clear everything out and clean back there, as we found another hanging out in the box of brewing supplies!)

By the way, while doing a final sweep before turning on the fans I found yet another BW down by the baseboards behind the front door. Whee.

The table, she rock. "Shiny" isn't just the latest metaphor for "cool."
