AT&T/Cingular/whatever it is is one of the primary advertisers during the post-apocolyptic TV show Jericho. On the show's website, they have brief video clips, with an AT&T ad at the beginning of each.

The end result of this, seeing as Jericho is one of two shows I watch and I'm not exposed to their ads in other contexts, is that their jingle is firmly associated with nuclear war in my brain, and I have a slight fight or flight reaction every time I hear it.

I'm not sure that's really what they intended.

I'm currently being exposed to the TV as I'm sitting in the VA urgent care waiting room while [livejournal.com profile] koyote gets a bite of some sort surrounded by a bull's eye rash obtained while up in the mountains checked out. I'm attempting to study, but America's Funniest Home Videos is a little too distracting, and not in a particularly pleasant manner.

I have to say, they've fixed this place up since the last time I was here.

Hubby had a patient with the bulls eye rash - her doc told her it was nothing - but hubby was proved right, lime disease from a tic bite.

They think it is probably a spider bite, but they're testing and doing antibiotics anyways.

Glad to hear it. "Bite" plus "bullseye rash" plus "mountains" is a worrisome combination. Lyme disease is unpleasant, debilitating, and hard to get rid of.

Hope all turns out well with [livejournal.com profile] koyote bite mark.

Hope all turns out well for your ATT earworm bite. I don't think they have drugs to help jingle infections.
