Please consider putting Onion News Network and other embedded video that autoplays behind a cut tag, preferably marked with something like "Autoplaying video behind cut".

I really dislike having to find the video and stop it every time I reload my friends page.

I've edited mine -- I lost connectivity pretty much as soon as I tossed it up, and couldn't edit from my treo once I realized it autoplayed.

Thanks! Like I said, this really wasn't aimed at one person - it happens on a regular basis from various different people. I just finally got annoyed enough to say something :)

LJ has a settings page where you can turn off autoplay of videos.

I hunted for a little bit for an appropriate greasemonkey script, but it seems that no one has cobbled one together.
