That would not increase my confidence in the school. But, hey, kids are kids and they get hurt no matter what.

From what I understand, she passed out, so probably a random health problem and not necessarily anything the school had any control over.

Similar...on home from Amtrak, and I notice three conductors are talking to one passenger in my car. Assumed the person had not paid for their ticket, maybe they were discussing that. One conductor was sitting across from the person. Then the announcement:

"We will be arriving in Suisun in a few minutes...in the meantime, if anyone aboard is a doctor or has medical training, please come immediately to car #4."

Sudden but maintained WTFness ensued on all passenger faces.
But yes, three passengers scurried into our car by the time we arrived and opened the doors.

The squad car arrived as I crossed the street, and the ambulance and emergency truck passed me on Main street.

I had that happen on a plane trip once. I never saw the person, however, as they had them up in first class by the time we were generally aware, and they got them off first.

Honestly, for all I know they died during the trip. We didn't detour, so it was either not too bad or it was very bad.
